Antica Osteria Il Baretto cuisine is typical of the Cinque Terre and Liguria, among which the stuffed mussels, the "Tian Vernazza" (baked anchovies with potatoes and tomato), and fresh trofie with the famous pesto daily still old-fashioned way. Other local specialties are the fresh black noodles (with cuttlefish ink) with pesto and pine nuts, spaghetti with anchovies and the marinated cod. Salted or marinated anchovies, spaghetti with seafood, croxetti (a flat medallion pasta) with genovese meat sauce, fried calamari (squids), fried anchovies or cath of the day, baked or grilled fish.
The restaurant also offers fassone beef filet with herbs or grilled, served with potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. Among the desserts stands the "Baretto cake" made with Brugnato yoghurt, vanilla, chocolate and Portofino figs jam. They also offer a good selection of local and national wines.
